There are many reasons for visiting Cody, Wyoming, whether to take in the history of the Wild West or to enjoy the present extension and expansion of modern civilization in a truly American way. Despite its modernization, Cody has maintained that warmth that is affiliated to such Western towns, an atmosphere that draws back many of first time visitors again and again. Cody in Wyoming is one of the last Western towns in the United States that has kept that Wild West hospitality and history, as well as the upbeat mode of the modern world. Many visitors are repeats, generations of families coming back to enjoy the recreation, the culture and the events for which the town is well-known. In fact, many drag along their laptops or wander into varied locations to enjoy Internet access.
Most of the lodgings in the town are Internet savvy, offering business facilities with computers and broadband connections, or in-room Wi-Fi. Many hotspots exist throughout the town where one can settle on a park bench or take in a quick coffee or snack whilst surfing the Internet.

Two prime locations for strong and continuous Wi-Fi signals include the lobbies in the Beartooth Inn (2513 Greybull Highway) and the Holiday Inn (1701 Sheridan Avenue). For computers for research or broadband Internet access, the best stop is the Cody Public Library. However, there are limitations on the time for computer usage, so it is best to arrive early. There is also a good Wi-Fi signal for laptop users.
